It is critical that server room temperature and humidity is monitored closely to enable both maximum uptime and maximum hardware life. If a server room becomes too hot, equipment runs a higher risk of failure - often leading to downtime, lost data, and lost revenue. Ambient cooling always creates humidity in the air of a server room. If humidity is too low, the dry air will lead to electrostatic discharge, which can damage critical server components. Too much humidity will cause condensation, leading to hardware corrosion and equipment failure.

The MX2300 and MX1100 series have built-in Bluetooth wireless communication to your smartphone with up to 100ft range, and optional remote monitoring, so you’ll be alerted to potential issues 24/7 via SMS text/email even if you’re not on site.
The MX2303 with its two external temperature sensors is ideal for rack temperature monitoring at multiple points.
In addition, the MX1104 & MX1105 have sensor inputs for light/door contacts (to detect server room entry), power monitoring and more.
